It's time to leave Paris and head to Bordeaux for the Lambert Bridge Wine Trip...the impotus for the entire European Adventure. This will be the first of several train trips during the European Adventure.

Chateau du Thil
Chateau du Thil is our "home" for the week. The Lambert Bridge group has the run of the entire chateau which is part of the larger Château Smith Haut Lafitte estate which includes the winery and resort.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jen Higgins (Lambert Brige Winemaker) and Shelby Kolpin (Membership Manager) with a glass of wine. Okay...LOTS of wine.
Once everyone arrives, we meet Wendy Narby who is our Bordeaux wine guide for this trip. Wendy gives us an overview of the Bordeaux wine region.
We end the evening with a lovely dinner in the Chateau catered from the resort. No, I don't remember the menu...and yes, I'm missing some photos.
