So our flight was supposed to land at 7am ...of course, we were late. Apparently because there wasn't a place for the plane to arrive even though when we did arrive they parked up on the tarmac with steps off the plane and a shuttle bus. So, of course I had scheduled a Tuk Tuk tour to fill the time until we could check in at the hotel and get acquainted Lisbon
Lisbon is a city of hills...lots of hills...lots of walking up and down hills.
Plus amazing tile work
Our hotel was situated above the famed Pink Street...known for its bars and late night hours. I didn't even use the ear plugs furnished by the hotel.
Yes the street really is PINK!
Nice earplugs! I kept them :)
Exploring Pink Street on our first day we found the Pink Wine Point and stumbled into a Portguese wine tasting. And be sure to ask David Strohscher about his Pink Street experiences....just whisper "cocaine."
Olena did a great job educating us about the wines of Portugal as well as giving use the sensory experience!
